"Mike and Debbie"

Hi, My name is Mike Ross and here's my role in Ross Roi.

1). I play with all the dogs.
2). I give them cookies.
3). I get way to close to all the dogs.
4). I pet them until my fingers ache.
5). I tell them mom's bad when she grooms and they all jump on my lap.
6). I baby sit when moms away showing.

Its a tough job but someone has to do it.

Seriously, I'm so proud of Debbie and all her accomplishments in our breed. We started from scratch and worked our way up. It would have been much easier to buy a couple champions, but not nearly as rewarding. We did things our way and learned through mistakes. I love our dogs and I love this breed! If your goal is to own a champion or companion just remember, all Shelties are "Champions" of "Companions"!

Hello, my name is Debbie Ross.
I'm glad you stopped by, as I love sharing the joy our dogs have given us.
I'm very blessed to have a wonderful, supportive husband, four kids that I'm very proud of, and being surrounded by the breed I love.
Over the years I have lived with many breeds, from Poodles to Great Danes, but Shelties have stolen my heart.
I ran a large training and boarding kennel for years and trained well over a thousand dogs of all breeds. One of my main goals is to teach people what a wonderful, versatile breed Shelties are. I have always been willing to help people new to the breed any way I can. In fact when someone gets one of my dogs I tell them it's a package deal as they get me too!
I have met so many great people because of our dogs. Shelties have enriched my life in so many ways.
Thank you for stopping by and I hope you enjoy our babies.

Ross Roi Shelties began over 20 years ago in Michigan. Mike and I worked very hard to do things right in this wonderful breed. By establishing a good reputation and making so many great friends in the mid-west and Canada it was all worth while.
In 2002 we relocated to Florida. To be honest it was a hard move on us. We not only moved away from our families and friends, but we moved to a "new" Sheltie area. It's been like starting all over in Shelties, meeting the Sheltie people, finding a vet we could trust and trying to re-establish our reputation in another part of the country.
Because of our love of the breed we will stick to it and hopefully spend another 20 years being involved in the wonderful world of Shelties.
